Sarah Enni is a young adult author of TELL ME EVERYTHING (Scholastic, 2/26/19) who started this podcast as part of a lifelong effort to be more like Nina Totenberg. She lives in Los Angeles with her cat, Hammer.
First Draft seeks to share honest, meaningful conversations with storytellers about the pursuit of creative fulfillment, the craft challenges posed by their particular medium(s), and to provide more transparency about the professional side of artistic endeavors.
The podcast started with an epic road-trip and a quest to discover how place and setting influenced an author’s creative life. Two months and 6,000 miles later, Sarah Enni felt the real mission had only just started. Now in its fifth year, the podcast features more than 170 interviews.
